DIFFICULTY
Namibia has very good main roads, where the vast majority are dirt roads Daily travel distances are between 250-350 km.
It is important to know the techniques for how to drive safely on loose gravel and in loose sand in some places. If you can't do that, you will find it difficult to relax and enjoy the drive.
We drive approx. 80% gravel roads. and approx. 20% asphalt road
We recommend an off-road course and a play day before departure
Visa
driver's license
There is a visa requirement to enter Namibia, but all Danes get it on arrival costs
Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry
It is fine to have a Danish driving license
